Hello World... again

Hello there!

So, once again, it has come to the time for me to redevelop my website. This site has gone through many iterations over the last 19 years - there have been flash movies, grunge effects from Photoshop, javascript animations, FTP, HTML, Vue, all sorts to try and reflect the current landscape of web development, while also giving me a playground to learn and experiment.

This time is no different. After saying I would do this for the last four years, I have finally got to grips with Astro as my platform. This seems a good fit for me, as it lets me keep playing with React/Vue if I want to, but also has it’s own easy to follow way of doing things.

It’s been a long time since I last redid my website, let alone one where I had any kind of post facility, but I am hoping to use this as a place for me to store my thoughts and ideas, as well as take advantage of the new features available to web development today.
